The hotel is in a convenient location. It is near the street. I was happy to find parking was available in the evening. The young receptionists were friendly and approachable.
The room I booked did not look like the pictures. The room was rundown and basic. Paint was peeling off the radiator and windowsills. The bathroom was not overly clean. I noticed scuff marks and bleach marks on the bath and drawers.

I was genuinely charmed by this place. the staff were accommodating. I appreciated their prompt service. the room featured a handy fridge and kettle for making tea. the proximity to the tram stop made getting around town easy
The bathroom was somewhat small. It felt a bit cramped for more than one person.
